How to follow a race with live timing
The broadcast shows one battle at a time. Live timing shows all of them. Start with the gaps: an interval shrinking lap after lap is a car closing in long before the camera gets there. Then check the tyres. A driver on old tyres with a quicker car behind is the next pit stop, and the gaps behind tell you where they will rejoin.
When something happens, the Events tab tells you what race control decided, and the Team Radio tab tells you how the teams reacted. Tap any driver for their details, or open the More tab for charts such as gap to leader, position changes and tyre strategy.
