What you see

Sector heatmap

Every driver’s sectors against the session best, colour-coded, in practice and qualifying.

Ideal lap

Each driver’s best sectors combined into a theoretical lap, and the gap to their real best.

Track evolution

How lap times improve as the track rubbers in, with Q1, Q2 and Q3 marked in qualifying.

Corner performance

In post-session qualifying analysis, compare how drivers perform corner by corner.

Reading the sectors

A lap time is a single number. Sectors explain it. A driver fastest in the last sector but slow in the first is strong in slow corners; a car quick in the straight-line sector is trimmed for top speed. The ideal lap shows how much time each driver left on the table.

Where to go next

For every lap of the session, open lap times. To see how a lap was driven, use the lap analysis in post-session telemetry.
